Too expensive price performance is not right

We had a great Christmas party there. The food was amazing and the service was always there. Thank you for the great evening.

Located in the castle park with outdoor seating with stunning views over the Renaissance Schlosspark. Good hospitality with food and drinks and also coffee and cake. However, something high priced.

We celebrated our wedding in the chamber music hall of the castle and were catered for by the castle restaurant. From planning the wedding to the final day of the wedding, we were always well looked after. Questions never remained unanswered and suggestions for solutions were made directly to you. We had a 4 course menu which tasted very good. The finger food which was served us for champagne reception was delicious and with love prepared. A big compliment goes to the staff who served us. According to our nationalities, Italian and Croatian service employees were assigned to us accordingly. The biggest praise goes to Marco and Marijana. Professional and hospitable we were served. Wishes were read directly from the eyes. We had a wonderful day and celebrated our dream wedding in Schwetzingen Castle. Many thanks to the team of the castle restaurant. We can only recommend you.

Outside you get as good and better for a lower or justifiable price Service **** The service was not very attentive. Passed several times to one though obviously new guest was. Even when more came, you had to wait forever. Otherwise, everything went smoothly and the service was friendly. miscellaneous The children's tables outside are abolished. Super uncomfortable. A comfortable sitting for a while normal food is impossible.

Effortless service, kitchen imaginative but missing the last kick. Appetizer badly spiced, main course medium warm ... Ordinary wine list. Ultimately too expensive for what was offered.

In the romantic castle park of Schwetzingen Castle is Lacher's Restaurant. In Electoral rooms you can enjoy star cuisine here. The ambience is lovely, the food is delicious, fresh and of excellent quality. The menu offers creative options for seasonal regional dishes. The friendly and careful staff makes the visit an experience. The view into the castle park is a feast for the eyes. Near the entrance there is enough parking space on the one side and a parking garage on the other side.

I'm usually very critical of restaurants, something is always missing or not as it should be. But not here. I'll keep it short: we had a lovely, perfect experience eating here. The staff, and especially the young man who looked after us, were all very nice and warm. The food - we had salmon with potatoes, onion roast with spaetzle (the sauce was DELICIOUS!) And a large salad with strips of turkey breast - was excellent. Our waiter always had an attentive but unobtrusive eye on us, so that we were always supplied with drinks. Otherwise, the restaurant is bright, clean and nice music is playing - softly and unobtrusively - in the background. The prices are perfectly okay for this class and location. A wonderful experience in every respect that rounded off a visit to the beautiful castle park. We would love to come back! PS: That was already mentioned in another review, but I thought I'll add that here: To get to the restaurant, you have to pay the entrance to the castle park. That should be mentioned at this point.

Unfortunately, the tables outside were very dirty. The chairs are too high or the tables are too small for the chairs. Prices are tough. Portions were unfortunately not large either. 0.5l beer costs € 4.50 here. So next time we're going to eat outside the facility. The restaurant in front of the castle also looked very good.

Hands-down the best restaurant in Schwetzingen. Wonderful food by a former Michelin chef, excellent service and outstanding atmosphere. This combination allows it to beat out other ‘top’ restaurants in town.

Restaurant in the Schwetzingen castle park. Can only be reached if you have paid entry to the castle park. There are many small and large dishes at reasonable prices. In summer you can sit outside and enjoy the beautiful castle park.

Fantastic Royal style interiors, so u can feel like a princess ;) Bit pricy :( but what can u do while U eat in the castle ? cakes looks great! Nice to grab a coffe to go before garden walk when it's chilly outside!

A bit pricy

We had a very successful birthday event with 60 guests. From the reception to the end everything was well organized. The food was a dream and a service that was not only very warm and friendly, but forward-looking and very attentive to the last detail. It is hardly better! The ambience, the service and the food really deserve a lot of praise. All 60 guests are still raving about this evening. We are very, very gladly again!
